CL YTD: +9.78

Most people think that the teams that have been guaranteed passage to the next round are pushovers. While they may not be putting their best effort across they still don't want a loss. I'm betting on these teams to not lose.

AC Milan pk and +0.5 -105 over Celtic (Sportingbet)

Barcelona pk and +0.5 -132 over Shakthar (PointBet)

Chelsea pk and +0.5 +110 over Porto (Sportingbet)

More for Wednesday's matches.

Like your idea with the dogs..unfortunately pinni has them all as pk.

I'll stick to the team which have to win

Athen -0.5 @2.07 ---dont understand why line is going up..athen is a good team and PSV has nothing to play for..even without that situation i would bet Athen

Bremen over 2.5 @ Bremen will at least look for one score..both teams should be on the board so good chances to bring it over.

Leverkusen -0.5/1 @ 2.05 and over 2.5
This group is very high scoring and leverkusen at home anyway...Leverkusen will bring the win home at home. They are the better team with strong home record

Moskau +0.5/+1 @ 1.95 I like this team and i dont see a blow out win by PSG. They are not that good IMO..it will be close maybe even an away win.

Liverpool -1 @ 1.98: Strong home team and better team in must win situation.

Arsenal straight up..but just in some parlays...-2 is too much.

BOL to all

have too add two more:

Chelsea pk 2.14 @ and chelsea over 2 @ 1.84

Reason is simple..chelsea is by far the better team. they have nothing to play for, but the chelsea coach is such a arrogant person, he will love to kick his old team in the ass...chelsea will go for the win here. and when they take the lead, porto has to open up big time the defense. if porto takes lead, chelsea will score to get them out of competition..so total will be at least a push.

chriscol:

You can play 2 out of the 3-way bets (bet on dog to win and bet on draw) at Pinnacle and still get good odds.

Chriscol,
Danke Sehr,

That breman match looked pretty rough, do these guys not like each other? 8 yellows and a red.

Nice picks chriscol. I would have also wanted to make a bet on the teams that needed to win but got wrapped up in my basketball bets and didn't want to throw something out there that hadn't been studied well.

Tuesday's results:
AC Milan 0, Celtic 0 (1/2 draw, 1/2 win)
Shakhtar 2, Barcelona 0 (loss)
Porto 2, Chelsea 1 (loss)

Net for the day: -1.52

Monaco +120 over Deportivo (0.5 units) (betCRIS)
Monaco/Deportivo draw +250 (0.5 units) (PointBet)
Deportivo has not score a goal in 5 CL matches and are all but eliminated from going further in the competition.

Monaco/Deportivo under 2.5 -125 (Globet)
Neither team has much to play for. Monaco has free passage into the next round.

Real Madrid -1 and -1.5 -118 over Roma (Sportingbet)
Roma/Real Madrid over 2.5 -133 (Betinternet)
I remember the last 2 times these teams played on ESPN. The final score there was 4-2. This is a must-win match for Real.

Juventus/Tel Aviv under 2.5 -118 (Globet)
Juventus has it's place in the next round wrapped up. They have not allowed a goal in 5 matches. Even their 2nd-string can keep Tel Aviv from scoring much.

quantum- I like the Real Madrid side as well. This is a huge match for them and they showed just how big it is by resting several regulars in their league match over the weekend. I feel Real Madrid know they can't catch Barcelona for the Spanish La Liga title so the Champion's League is their total focus. Roma are without many starters including Totti and playing a home game in an empty stadium only will add to their current woes.

I know Real Madrid could advance with a draw if Bayer Leverkusen lose at home to Dinamo Kiev but Real Madrid won't want to depend on that scenario nor should they. I think they will jump on AS Roma right from the opening whistle and come away with a solid win.

I'm glad you're on that side. I always like hearing your feedback.

I've read where Roma is resting their players as well. I hadn't heard that the stadium was still going to be empty though. I thought that bad was over.

I don't think Real wants to count on Bayer to lose at home.

Glad you made a comeback.

Thanks go to soccerbob for giving his encouragement on the Real match. It sounds like some of you were able to take advantage of his sound reasoning.
